As a Specialist, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, provide invaluable client support, and assist with crisis interventions when needed.

Requirements

Must have a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist certificate.
Associate’s degree in a Human Services-related field preferred.
Strong ethical values and mature judgment.
Cultural competency training.
Valid driver’s license and references.
Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively as part of a treatment team.
Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Engage actively in treatment team meetings, sharing your lived experience expertise.
Maintain regular contact with referral sources and provide updates on client progress.
Conduct concurrent reviews and complete medical record documentation promptly.
Ensure accurate documentation of all client interactions.
Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and peer record reviews.
Build and foster professional relationships with clients, staff, and external partners.
Provide transportation for clients to access essential community resources.
Participate in emergency services duty on rotation, including crisis assessments and hospital diversions.
