About The Position

A hospital is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support a busy Adult Operating Room. The ideal candidate will have strong scrub experience and be comfortable working in a high-acuity trauma environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of recent OR experience (within the last 4 years)
• Experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center or equivalent facility
• Strong scrub experience required
• Experience across multiple specialties including: Trauma Orthopedics General Surgery ENT Vascular GYN
• Ability to work independently with minimal orientation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Active CST certification required
• No history of license or certification suspension or investigation

Nice To Haves

• Bariatric / GU (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist surgeons during operative procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields
• Anticipate surgeon needs and manage surgical instruments and supplies
• Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia teams
• Support efficient OR workflow in a fast-paced environment
