About The Position

Prepare the surgical suite with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all sterile instruments and supplies are ready to support a seamless and safe procedure. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team by providing the correct instruments and supplies with speed and precision, allowing the surgeon to maintain focus on the patient. Protect patient safety by maintaining an impeccably organized sterile field and conducting rigorous instrument counts to ensure zero retained items. Support the patient’s journey through the OR by assisting with safe positioning and draping, prioritizing both clinical accuracy and patient dignity.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
