Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) – Multiple Massachusetts Locations This position is reserved exclusively for licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs). Relient Health is seeking licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) for full-time, in-person opportunities within established rehabilitation departments across Massachusetts. These are full-time, direct-hire, permanent placement positions (not travel, not contract, not PRN). Our openings include opportunities in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), retirement communities, hospitals, outpatient clinics, pediatric settings, and home health, depending on the specific location. 📍 Current COTA openings available in: Boston, Brighton, Brockton, Chelsea, Fitchburg, Framingham, Pittsfield, and additional Massachusetts markets. 🔎 Who Are These Opportunities Ideal For? Licensed Massachusetts Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants COTAs relocating to Massachusetts Recent graduates from accredited OTA programs pursuing Massachusetts licensure COTAs seeking experience in SNF, ALF, retirement communities, hospital-based rehab, outpatient, pediatric, home health, or mixed-setting rehabilitation roles This role is specific to licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants practicing within a rehabilitation department. This is not a CNA, nursing assistant, medical assistant, therapy aide, or non-licensed support role.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program
  • Active Massachusetts COTA license, or eligibility/pending licensure
  • Ability to work full-time in one of the listed Massachusetts markets
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Implement treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services in a rehabilitation setting
  • Assist patients with ADLs, functional skills, safety, and independence
  • Document patient care in EMR systems per state, federal, and facility standards
  • Collaborate with OTs, rehab staff, nursing teams, and interdisciplinary care providers
