About The Position

Alhambra Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing team. Requirements

  • Active COTA license in good standing (required)
  • Strong documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Casamba and PointClickCare (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Implement individualized treatment plans approved by physicians
  • Complete daily treatment notes and weekly progress reports in compliance with state and payer requirements
  • Communicate patient progress and concerns with therapy and nursing teams
  • Assist with caregiver and family training for safe discharge planning
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning
  • Support restorative nursing programs and train restorative aides as needed
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized therapy areas
  • Report equipment needs or safety concerns promptly
  • Participate in ongoing training, in-services, and staff development
