We're looking for a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehab team and make a difference every day.  The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality therapy services that restore function, promote independence, and improve quality of life for patients in a long-term acute care setting.

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• OTA (Occupational Therapy Assistant)
• Required Associate's Occupational Therapy

Nice To Haves

• Preferred Bachelor's Occupational Therapy
• Preferred 1-year Occupational Therapy

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic activities to enhance motor skills, ADLs, and cognitive function.
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and adaptive equipment.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely per hospital and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and HIPAA regulations.
