Requirements

  • Current Ohio Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure in good standing
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Compassionate, resident-focused approach

Nice To Haves

  • Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy treatments per established plans of care
  • Assist residents with therapeutic exercises and functional activities
  • Document treatments, progress, and resident responses accurately and timely
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
  • Promote safety, dignity, and individualized resident care
  • Comply with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
