About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality patient care in a long-term care (LTC) setting. The CNA will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor health status, and support the healthcare team to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Requirements

  • Active CNA license in the state of Oregon
  • BLS (AHA) certification required
  • 1–2 years of recent experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and support with daily living activities
  • Assist patients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Help patients with mobility, including walking, standing, and transferring
  • Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent pressure injuries
  • Respond promptly to patient calls and provide appropriate assistance
  • Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
  • Track and document food/fluid intake and output
  • Communicate patient conditions and changes to nursing staff
  • Support dietary needs by following patient restrictions and preferences
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
