Here are some ways you’ll serve patients: Critical monitoring, like obtaining blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiratory rate, and oxygen levels – so we can better assess patient health Transport patients to appointments and procedures – to get them the right care at the right time Interact with patients to promote comfort, and express compassion, and empathy as they heal Walking – It’s one of the most important things we can do for our patients- and you get to help them do it safely Assist with activities of daily living – things we often take for granted that patients may be unable to, or need help doing, themselves. This can include eating, bathing, brushing teeth, toileting and more.

Requirements

Certified as a Nursing Assistant on the Minnesota Registry.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Must have current certification through the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

Some healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
