Requirements

Active certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of North Carolina.
High School diploma or GED (or equivalent).
Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or memory care.
Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for relationship-centered caregiving.

Responsibilities

Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, mobility, toileting, and all ADLs.
Supporting restorative care under therapy guidance.
Monitoring and reporting changes in condition promptly.
Participating in care planning as the resident’s closest advocate.
Responding quickly to call lights and resident needs.
Documenting vitals, care activities, intake/output, and observations.
Helping residents engage in meaningful daily activities and household events.
Encouraging independence, dignity, and personal choice.
Supporting a clean, safe, warm household environment.
Assisting with personal laundry, light housekeeping, and mealtime support.
Building lasting relationships rooted in kindness, respect, and person-centered care.
