About The Position

NOW HIRING: CNA – Ramsey County, ND Shifts: PM: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM Nights: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM Hours: 40 hours/week Pay: $1,320–$1,400/week Contract: 13 weeks Housing: Not provided Triad Travel Nursing Agency is seeking a reliable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a long-term care facility in Ramsey County.

Requirements

  • Active ND CNA license (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Must be in good standing on all CNA registries
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum age of 16.
  • Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
  • CNA training and certification required and provided by facility.
  • Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year.
  • A minimum of 12 hours continuing education are required annually.
  • Maintains all department specific required certifications.
  • When applicable, for applicable states, certified and registered with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry.
  • Dependent on facility and required responsibilities, this role may classify as a Sanford Category II Driver requiring a motor vehicle report and proof of valid driver s license.
  • Also must be medically qualified to perform the essential driving functions of this position as per our Sanford Driving Policy per the leaders request.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
  • Support mobility and transfers
  • Obtain and document vital signs and blood sugars
  • Provide emotional support and engage residents in activities
  • Report changes in condition to nursing staff
  • Assist with meals, housekeeping, and laundry
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols
