About The Position
We have a Part time 6a-2:30p opening for a Certified Nursing Assistant that will take the best possible care of our residents! CNAs are responsible for providing personal care and assistance for residents as directed by the unit charge nurse, Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or designee. CNAs will be responsible for helping our residents with personal hygiene tasks including assistance with dressing, grooming, going to the bathroom, feeding, and baths/showers. CNAs are responsible for observing and reporting changes in residents’ physical and emotional conditions to the unit charge nurse. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent - also must be able to fluently read, write and comprehend English
- Satisfactory completion of the 75 hour nursing assistant course required
- Certified nursing assistant certificate required
- Valid and current on the Iowa Nurse Aide Registry through the Department of Inspection and Appeals
- A post offer of employment physical, drug screen, Tspot and background check are required.
