About The Position
NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. Certified Nursing Assistant Per-Diem DAY & NOC shift DAY shift: 7:00 am to 7:30 pm NOC shift: 7:00 pm to 7:30 am 12-hour shifts (every shift includes 4 hours of OT) Salary range: $18.00-$21.50 per hour, based on experience $2.00 per hour NOC shift differential Overtime pay after 8th hour Blended salary range: $21.00-$25.08 per hour La Mesa, CA NeuroRestorative facility located on Aztec Drive CLHF (Congregate Living Health Facility) 15-bed facility staffed with 1 RN, 1 LVN, 2 CNAs per shift Low patient ratios On demand pay via Dayforce Wallet We are currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant who is kind, hardworking and dedicated to helping us provide compassionate, gentle care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an inpatient or long-term care facility and is capable of providing Activities of Daily Living such as helping patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and recreational activities, as well as documenting care and taking vital signs. Requirements
- Completion of CNA certification program AND current California CNA certification
- Current in CPR for Healthcare Provider
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, residents, and families
- A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
Nice To Haves
- One year CNA experience preferred, ideally experience with medically complex patients
Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care such as assisting the patient in moving to and from bed and ensuring that the patient's condition is monitored properly with consistent assessments
- Assist patients with dressing or bathing as directed by the supervising nurse.
- Observe patients and report changes to the nurse
- Provide basic support to convalescing patients
- Assist with mobility exercises and range of motion activities
