About The Position

At Hanley Foundation, a non-profit organization based in West Palm Beach, we aim to eliminate addiction through prevention, treatment, advocacy, and recovery support. We seek a compassionate and organized Certified Nursing Assistant who shares our passion. In this role, you will be part of a supportive and collaborative team and work alongside top-notch professionals to deliver exceptional care to our patients. Your role as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is pivotal in our patient care. You will report directly to the Director of Nursing and be responsible for the safety and monitoring of patients who cannot perform their own activities of daily living (ADLs). Schedule for this position: Monday - Friday; 6:00am to 2:00 PM. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Completion of state-approved CNA certification training course.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience required
If in recovery, 1 year of continuous sobriety is required.

Responsibilities

Uphold all Hanley Foundation Health Care Policies and Procedures.
Maintain client/potential client confidentiality following Hanley Foundation's Policy.
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), which include, but are not limited to:
Bathing
Toileting
Dental Hygiene
Ambulating
Transferring
Help with feeding if necessary
Assist nurses and other staff as needed
Daily report/documentation on patient
Help patients who are cognitively impaired around campus/getting to appointments
Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor.
