About The Position

Human Touch Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our home healthcare team. As a CNA, you will be responsible for providing direct care to patients in their homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Your primary role will be to assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), monitor their health status, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment. Human Touch Home Care is a home healthcare provider in the area, providing comprehensive, skilled, and non-skilled services to homebound clients in Colorado, with an excellent track record of client-focused care. Requirements

  • Current Colorado State CNA License/Active certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
  • Compassion, empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move patients safely, as required.
  • Dependable and punctual with a commitment to patient care.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in home healthcare or a related field (1 year preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care assistance including bathing, eating, dressing, hygiene, mobility, and exercise.
  • Provide household care including housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and dietary aide.
  • Provide companionship, engaging patients in conversation and offering emotional support and reminders.
  • Help patients with walking, transferring, and physical exercises as prescribed.
  • Assist with medication reminders and adherence as per the care plan.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and changing bed linens.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in health status to healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care activities and observations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Follow infection control procedures and ensure a safe environment for patients.
