About The Position
FULL-TIME CNA POSITION AVAILABLE AT INDEPENDENT LIVING MUST BE DEPENDABLE, RELIABLE AND PUNCTUAL LOCATION: DURHAM PROVIDE ONE-ONE CARE MONDAY-FRIDAY 1PM-9PM EVERY OTHER WEEKEND 1PM-9PM Allcare Home Health Agency is a locally owned and operated agency that provides a variety of services to clients in their home and community environment. These positions involve providing personal hands-on care to our clients to include bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, light housekeeping, mobility assistance and medication reminders. Maintain a safe, healthy environment for our clients.
Requirements
- NC CNA Certification
- Current TB Test
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Current Auto Insurance
- Caregivers who have reliable transportation to and from their shift location
- Caregivers who can get to their assigned shift on time, every time
- Caregivers who are respectful; introduces themselves to the client with a smile and an attitude of compassion, able to listen to the client with the idea of wanting to help clients with their needs, and not making the shift about the caregiver but having all attention on the client.
Responsibilities
- Providing knowledgeable and compassionate care to clients with all levels of needs to include bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Mobility assistance with standby assistance, walers, wheelchairs, etc.
- Meal preparation
- Medication reminders
