About The Position
Tidewell Hospice, a member of Empath Health in beautiful Southwest Florida, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to care for patients at Empath Health Hospice Houses. 8a-8:30p; Week 1: Thursday/Saturday; Week 2: Sunday/Saturday Our CNAs have the unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, the CNA provides personal and basic medical care services within the plan of care for patients within the CNA scope of practice and to enhance patient and family comfort. Requirements
- Applicants must have Florida State Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Current CPR certification required
- One year of recent experience in hospice, home health or acute-care setting is preferred.

- One year of recent experience in hospice, home health or acute-care setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Is responsible for overall care of the patient, from basic personal care like bathing and grooming to household tasks that assist the primary caregiver.
- Educates the patient and primary caregiver about personal care, patient positioning and daily living.
