About The Position

Centurion is the provider of medical healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections. They are seeking a Full-Time Phlebotomist/CNA to join their team at Union Correctional Institution in Raiford, Florida. The CNA will work under the close direction of nursing, medical, and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care for incarcerated individuals. This includes assisting patients with personal hygiene, daily living needs, and vital sign monitoring.

Requirements

• Florida CNA license or ability to obtain license
• Phlebotomy certification
• Current CPR
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Nice To Haves

• One year experience in acute care, long term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
• Corrections experience not required

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals
