About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a Long Term Care (LTC) assignment at a skilled nursing facility in Steamboat Springs, CO. The CNA will provide patient-centered care during overnight shifts, ensuring residents’ comfort, safety, and dignity.

Requirements

• Active CNA certification (state-compliant)
• Previous experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and variable schedules
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
• Ability to stand, lift, and assist residents as needed
• Commitment to the full 13-week assignment

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff
• Take and record vital signs as required
• Assist with repositioning, transfers, and ambulation
• Provide emotional support, comfort, and reassurance to residents
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
• Follow infection control, safety, and facility protocols
• Accurately document care provided per facility standards
• Collaborate effectively with nurses and other healthcare team members
