About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide one-on-one, in-home care to seniors and Veterans in Davis and Weber Counties. This is a non-medical home care position focused on personal care, safety, companionship, and dignity. If you enjoy meaningful work, flexible scheduling, and building real relationships with clients, we would love to meet you.

Requirements

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional

Nice To Haves

• Home care, assisted living, or skilled nursing experience
• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care experience
• Hospice or end-of-life care experience

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care)
• Provide safe transfers and mobility assistance
• Meal preparation and assistance with eating
• Medication reminders (no medication administration)
• Light housekeeping related to client care
• Companionship and emotional support
• Dementia and Alzheimer’s care following care plans
• Hospice-supportive care (training provided)
• Document care and communicate changes to the office team
