About The Position

Position: Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) – Home Care Openings: PRN - All Shifts: The schedule will depend on your availability in addition to the company’s. Must meet PRN requirements: work 2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays monthly; must work either Thanksgiving OR Christmas. Full-Time - CNA ONLY 8am - 4pm with rotational weekends Full-Time - AIL CNA (Assistance in Living CNA) 8am - 8pm with rotational weekends Full-Time - Activities Assistant/CNA Tuesdays and Thursday 8am - 8pm required +1 Rotating day; 3 12-hour shifts per week Pay: CNA Pay range: $15.50 - $16.45 per hour depending on experience. CNA AIL and Activities Assistant Pay range: $16.50 - $17.45 per hour depending on experience. We are offering a $500 sign-on bonus for all Home Care C.N.A. positions! Employee recognition programs Beautiful, resort-like campus on over 60 acres Position Summary: Provide personalized, one-on-one care to residents in campus homes, assisting with activities of daily living, medication reminders, transportation, and companionship to support independence and well-being

Requirements

  • Active North Carolina CNA certification or working towards one.
  • First Aid/CPR Certified.
  • One (1) year experience working as a CNA/PCA/HHA/RA preferred.
  • Need to have reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in geriatrics preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 care in resident homes located on campus.
  • Promote independent living activities, provide quality assistance with activities of daily living to enable residents to maintain independent living for as long as appropriate and possible.
  • Assist with ADL’s, dressing/bathing, meal preparation and household tasks including light laundry, dishes and bed making. This can include pet care.
  • Assist with transportation, transfers or ambulation as resident’s condition warrants.
  • Assist members with making appointments as requested.
  • Provide reminders to take medication.
  • Facilitate exercise programs and encourage member to participate in campus activities.
  • Offer companionship for off campus excursions/appointments/shopping.
  • Observe and report changes in behavior/appearance to the RN immediately.
  • Performance of assigned tasks in emergency situations including fire, electrical and disasters.
  • Provide a compliant calendar of availability to the scheduling department by the 15th of every month containing all required elements to maintain PRN status.
