About The Position

Centurion is the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. This position is for a Full Time Night Shift Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Graham Correctional Center in Hillsboro, Illinois, with a pay rate of $22.00/hr. CNAs work under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals, assisting them with personal hygiene, daily living needs, and vital sign monitoring.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required
• CNA licensure in Illinois required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Nice To Haves

• Training, experience or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
