Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Massachusetts CNA certification
• CPR/AED certification (required)
• Compassion, dependability, and strong teamwork skills
• Satisfactory completion of a background investigation is required for this position.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of CNA experience preferred (especially in long-term care)

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Provide respectful, person-centered care that honors resident preferences
• Support residents in social programs, activities, and dining
• Prepare and serve meals while ensuring food safety and dietary requirements
• Communicate changes in condition promptly to nursing staff and document as required
• Uphold resident rights, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming household environment
