Performs delegated nursing tasks for which competence is demonstrated through the Nursing Assistant skills checklist. This is a general job posting for several night shift openings on various units within the hospital with different schedule requirements. Specific unit information, along with schedule will be discussed in greater detail during the interview process. Schedule: Part time night shift with weeknight and weekend rotation. Must be able to work a minimum of two to three shifts/week, which includes weeknights. We are currently hiring for 2/16/2026 start date. Central orientation will be 2/16 through 1/23 and all candidates must be able to attend this orientation the first week 8:00am-4:30pm. Requirements

• Licensure, Registration and/or Certification Currently registered with the State of Wisconsin Registry for Nursing Assistants to be eligible for employment in the basic provider settings.
• Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
• Education High School diploma or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) required.
• Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Exhibits guiding behaviors that reflect Children’s values and support our mission and vision.
• Possesses and competently demonstrates core Nursing Assistant skills as outlined in the skill competency checklist and understands the role of performing delegated tasks.
• Possesses a willingness and the initiative to successfully complete educational requirements while developing and learning new skills as required by the unit.
• Possesses effective interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact courteously and tactfully with patients, parents/families and members of the health care team.
• Possesses rudimentary assessment and analytical skills in order to perform basic patient observations.
• Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Provides services in a setting where there is potential for exposure to blood and other high risk body fluids, chemotherapy agents, communicable disease and hazardous materials, chemicals, and waste.
• Requires frequent standing walking, bending, reaching and carrying/lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work a minimum of two to three shifts/week, which includes weeknights.
