We are currently seeking a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our evening shift team at Baldwin State Prison in Hardwick, GA. The CNA supports patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic clinical tasks while maintaining a safe, respectful, and professional care environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
  • Current PPD documentation for tuberculosis screening or ability to obtain
  • Current CPR and AED certification
  • Ability to pass background investigation and obtain required security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of CNA experience preferred (long-term care, skilled nursing, residential care, physician practice, or correctional setting)

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with personal hygiene and daily living activities
  • Monitor and report vital signs and changes in patient condition
  • Support nursing staff with routine clinical tasks
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Follow safety, security, and infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with nursing, medical, and mental health teams
