Requirements
- Education: High school diploma/GED
- Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA certification required in State of Ohio. Applicants must pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry.
- Good documentation, communications, and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to use tools and equipment required
Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality care and safety to elders
- Presenting elders with choices and decision-making opportunities
- Engaging in interesting and meaningful activities with elders
- Assisting the elders in getting up and going to bed when they want
- Planning and cooking their favorite foods and eating a meal with them
- Laundry and light housekeeping tasks
