About The Position
Sunshine Terrace Foundation is a leading skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Logan, Utah. We provide compassionate, high-quality care in a safe and engaging environment. Our mission is to enhance the lives of our residents through personalized attention, teamwork, and professional excellence. We are seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Nurse's Aides to join our caring team. In this role, you will provide hands-on care and support to residents, assisting with daily activities and promoting their overall health, safety, and well-being.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification in Utah preferred but not required
- Ability to become certified as a Nurse's Aide within 4 months of hire
- CPR and First Aid certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility is a plus
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care according to facility policies and care plans
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output
- Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and dietary needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Report any changes in resident condition to supervising nurses
