About The Position

Reporting to the Nursing Director of the assigned area, the Nursing Assistant performs duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN)/Charge Nurse and is responsible for providing high quality individualized basic care activities within the Nursing Assistant scope of practice.

Requirements

• High School Diploma preferred
• Completion of nursing assistant certification upon hire
• 3 months skilled nursing or hospital experience preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification required or current 2nd semester nursing student when hired or transferred into position
• Current California Certificate of Phlebotomy preferred
