About The Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene. Safely transfer and escort residents to and from activities, meals, and appointments in accordance with individual service plans. Serve meals to residents in the dining room or in their apartments as needed. Observe residents’ eating habits and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse. Provide support to residents to promote comfort, safety, and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents. Follow established care plans, policies, and procedures. Promote quality resident care in compliance with company standards, as well as state and federal regulations. Perform related non-professional duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Current New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required. Ability to work effectively under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Compassionate, patient-centered approach to resident care.
