About The Position
Bear Lake Memorial Healthcare is seeking hard-working, dependable individuals that can provide compassionate and caring service to their patients/residents. These individuals must be flexible and available for various hours/shifts. Essential duties include, but are not limited to: Assist with patient cares such as: Bathing, toileting, dressing, patient hygiene Taking vital signs Help with some medical procedures Assist patients entering or leaving their beds Assist patients walking Tidy patient's rooms Answer call lights promptly Make beds Deliver messages Monitor patients and report changes Collect samples for testing Assist in feeding patients Monitor food and liquid input/output Check blood sugars, weights, heights Give compassionate care for patients/residents Other related duties as required..
Requirements
- Willing and able to be flexible and to work various shifts/hours/days.
- Must be kind and compassionate.
- Good organizational skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to be on feet for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to do an excessive amount of bending, twisting and lifting.
- Strict adherence to confidentiality/HIPAA requirements.
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
- Must have good people skills and be able to get along well with others.
- Must have the ability to contribute to the culture and/or mission of the most caring hospital.
