About The Position

As a casual Certified Nurse Midwife with Allin, you will step into a dynamic hospital-based environment, providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in labor and delivery settings. You’ll collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and support staff at our Abbott and United Mother Baby Centers. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Graduate from Accredited School of Nursing required
• Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire
• BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support required within 180 Days
• AMCB American Midwifery Certification Board upon hire required
• Medium Work: Lifting weight Up to 32 lbs. occasionally (Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), Up to 25 lbs. frequently

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree or doctoral in nursing or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• CNM group independently provides labor support, water birth and VBAC/TOLAC services
• Midwifery collaborative support is provided by a supportive inhouse OB and maternal fetal medicine groups
• We attend approximately 40-50 births per month with three affiliated clinics.
• "Natural birth experience" highlighting nontraditional care in the hospital.
• Follows standards for Nurse Midwifery Practice established by the American College of Nurse-Midwives and Minnesota statute.
