About The Position

We are seeking a certified nurse midwife to work who will be responsible for providing prenatal education and support, attending childbirth, providing encouragement during labor and delivery, and supervising the general care of women and children directly after birth. They will also provide care to women during normal pregnancies and deliveries and calls on obstetricians or other physicians if complications develop. This position will be based at the Kaiser Permanente Townpark Comprehensive Medical Center located in Kennesaw, Georgia. The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) is one of Georgia’s largest independent, physician-owned, multi-specialty medical groups. More than 500 physicians and 150 associate practitioners work together in a unique integrated care model to provide high-quality care to over 300,000 Kaiser Permanente members. Requirements

  • BSN and successful completion of nurse midwifery program accredited by the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM)
  • Board certification by American Midwifery Certification Board
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as RN; one year as midwife
  • Current RN state license
