HealthPlus Staffing is proud to partner with a reputable Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Tallahassee, FL , to assist in their search for a Certified Nurse Midwife to join their growing team. Position Overview: Schedule: Monday-Friday Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000/year (based on experience) Setting: Outpatient and hospital care Job Description: The Certified Nurse Midwife will play a vital role in providing comprehensive perinatal, OB/GYN, and family planning care with the support of board-certified OB/GYN physicians and family practitioners. This position emphasizes collaboration, patient-centered care, and integration with a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nurse midwifery program.
- Current Florida State license and certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife.
- Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ethical standards and patient-centered care.
Nice To Haves
- Certifications in PALS, NRP, BLS, and ACLS preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality prenatal, gynecological, and post-partum care in alignment with organizational protocols and ACOG guidelines.
- Conduct physical exams, secure medical histories, and perform diagnostic procedures.
- Educate patients on family planning, sexual health, and overall health promotion.
- Provide post-partum counseling, support breastfeeding techniques, and ensure well-baby care coordination.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, community agencies, and external partners to deliver comprehensive care.
