Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Part-Time Days - RNA Specialty
About The Position
Mt Olympus Rehab and Nursing in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The facility is a close-knit group focused on providing residents with the best possible care and strives to improve the lives of residents, their families, and staff. The company offers opportunities for CNAs, including a "Nursing Tuition Reimbursement" program, where eligible employees can receive up to $500 a month (pre-tax) to attend nursing school. Eligibility for this program requires working part-time or full-time and completing the first 90 days of employment, with no contract required for the reimbursement.
Requirements
- An active CNA Certification, in good standing, issued by the state of Utah
- Effectively communicate on a personal level with residents, family members, personnel, visitors, etc.
- Able to make decisions independently when warranted
- Knowledge of medical and nursing practices and procedures
- Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to long term care
Responsibilities
- Feeding residents breakfast-lunch-dinner within the RNA room
- Taking the weekly weight of residents to ensure health is maintained
- Helping with ADL's of residents
- Range of Motion exercises
- Charting with our PCC software on tasks completed
- This is for a Restorative Nursing Assistant job, it is not a typical CNA Position
