About The Position

Under the supervision of an RN or LPN, the Certified Nurse Aide performs basic patient care activities in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. This role supports nursing staff and contributes to a safe, comfortable, and compassionate patient experience.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of practice required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma preferred
• Handle With Care certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care, including bathing, grooming, feeding, ambulation, and repositioning.
• Assists nursing staff with vital signs, specimen collection, and routine observations and reports changes in patient condition promptly.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized patient environment, including stocking supplies and equipment.
• Supports patient mobility and safety using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Documents care provided in accordance with department standards.
• Performs other duties as needed to support the clinical team.
