CERTIFIED NURSE AIDE (CNA)-PRN 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM-12-hour shifts ABOUT US Highpoint Health with Ascension Saint Thomas is a Joint Commission–accredited hospital serving south-central Tennessee with locations in Winchester and Sewanee. JOB SUMMARY The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. The CNA supports a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment and communicates changes in patient condition to the RN/LPN.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent-REQUIRED
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification within-REQUIRED
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire

- Previous healthcare experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, mobility)
- Provide basic patient care as delegated by the RN/LPN
- Observe and report changes in patient condition
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient care environment
- Support patient comfort, dignity, and safety
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams
