About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Certified Medication Aide to join our Nursing Department in a part-time capacity. This role is ideal for someone who values meaningful resident relationships, consistent scheduling, and a supportive care team.
Requirements
- Current Iowa CMA certification
- CPR certification (RN/LPN)
- Ability to lift 35 lbs independently
- Valid driver's license and ability to qualify as an approved driver
- Free of a history of child or dependent adult abuse
Responsibilities
- Administer medications accurately and safely
- Document medication tasks promptly
- Monitor and stock medication supplies
- Report health concerns or medication errors to the nurse
- Assist with basic resident care tasks
- Prepare medication orders and maintain working knowledge of administered meds
- Provide supportive and compassionate care to residents
- Document care and communication per policy
- Assist with transporting residents to appointments as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Communicate effectively with care teams, families, and coworkers
- Assist with general resident care and safety monitoring
