About The Position
Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Huntsville Health Care Center – Huntsville, TX Full-Time | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Skilled Nursing Facility Care with skill. Serve with heart. Huntsville Health Care Center is seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team full-time on the day shift (6a–6p) . As a CMA, you play a vital role in supporting our residents’ health and well-being by safely administering medications, assisting with daily care needs, and helping create a positive, comfortable environment for those we serve. Requirements
- Current Texas CMA certification (required).
- Active listing on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry in good standing.
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
- Dependable, professional, and committed to quality resident care.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to lift/move residents safely and assist with daily care routines.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Accurately administer prescribed medications and treatments under nurse supervision.
- Document all medication administration and resident observations per policy and state regulations.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nurse.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents and staff.
- Provide warm, compassionate care while promoting resident independence and dignity.
