About The Position

Certified Medical Assistant, FT, Piedmont Columbus Midtown Responsible for providing a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider (APP), or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards. Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program Required
• In Lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience is Required
• No experience required Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a similarly recognized certifying organization Required
• National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)-NCTT Required
