About The Position

As a Certified Medical Assistant supporting Dr. Slack, you’ll play an essential role in helping patients return to mobility, strength, and confidence. Job Summary The Certified Medical Assistant performs routine clinical and administrative duties to support the daily operations of the practice and ensure an excellent patient experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • CMA, RMA, or CCMA through AAMA or NHA required within 60 days of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
  • Strong critical thinking and sound judgment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment
  • Professional, calm, and solutions-focused approach with patients and staff

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assists the physician or nurse with patient assessments, treatments, and clinical procedures.
  • Performs basic diagnostics and specimen collection. Monitors and reports changes in patient condition.
  • Accurately documents patient care in the medical record.
  • Ensures exam rooms, equipment, and medical supplies are clean, stocked, and functioning appropriately.
  • Supports administrative functions such as scheduling, reception, registration, filing, and data entry as needed.
  • Delivers exceptional customer service to patients, families, and teammates.
  • Other duties as assigned.
