Job Overview Under the leadership of the Outpatient Department Manager and the indirect supervision of Physicians, assist with the delivery of patient care in the clinic by maintaining clinic flow, obtaining routine clinical information on patients/family; providing physical care of the patients, procuring and maintaining par levels of clinic supplies and providing light clerical assistance. We have an opportunity for a Full-time Certified Medical Assistant in our Outpatient Clinic. When directly supervised by an on-site Physician, the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) may accept tasks delegated to them by a Physician including: Transcribing of delegated orders into the EMR Performing minor non-surgical procedures Administering Topical medications Obtaining specimens, including performing venipuncture. A CMA may not prescribe medications, therapy services or schedule/perform surgical procedures. Schedule: Full-time Mon-Friday, FTE 1.0 (in-person) Compensation range: The hired applicant's placement within the range is based on qualifications, professional experience and education.
