Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a clinical setting preferred.
  • Current CPR certification and knowledge of basic life support.
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
  • Proficient in using electronic health record systems.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Commitment to providing excellent patient care and support.

Responsibilities

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
  • Perform vital signs, EKGs, and other diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
  • Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by physicians.
  • Provide patient education on treatment plans and follow-up care.
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Support front office functions, including scheduling and patient check-in.
