Role Overview: The Certified Medical Assistant provides critical support to employee health and workplace safety in a manufacturing environment. This role involves first aid response, health record management, employee guidance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
CMA (AAMA), RMA, NCMA, or CCMA certification.
Minimum 3 years clinical experience.
Knowledge of ergonomics and risk assessment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work with diverse teams.
Proficiency with basic computer applications.
Flexibility with scheduling.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment, including PPE use.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

Provide immediate care, first aid, and CPR for workplace injuries and illnesses.
Maintain confidential medical records per privacy regulations.
Support implementation of health and safety programs.
Educate employees and leaders on health, ergonomics, and safety practices.
Manage administrative data, reporting, and EHS-related documentation.
Coordinate with off-site medical providers and clinics.
Partner with emergency response teams.
Maintain supplies, equipment, and PPE.
Contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
