About The Position

Physicians' Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier multi-specialty practice with locations in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Estero and Lehigh Acres. We are currently seeking Certified/Registered Medical Assistant for our Adult Medicine division in Cape Coral, FL. Our Certified Medical Assistants: Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient and physician use Perform patient intake; vital signs, medical history and medication review Assist physicians in the exam room during physicals and procedures Record patient chart in management system in a timely and accurate manner Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations This position will require travel between pediatric offices as needed

Requirements

• A certification or registration from an accredited program for medical assistants (CMA/RMA)
• Great attention to detail and ability to record information accurately
• Solid attendance record
• Excellent and professional customer service skills
• Knowledge of phlebotomy, patient intake and common medications
• One year of medical assisting experience or combination of medical education and work experience
• CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire

Responsibilities
