About The Position
Baptist is looking to add a Certified Medical Assistant to our AgeWell team. Shift: Will vary based on department needs Location: Baptist Nocatee The AgeWell Department is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support their team. AgeWell services patients 65+ and is growing rapidly at Baptist! This position requires a candidate to have their Medical Assistant Certification as well as strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and flexibility. As a Certified Medical Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Performing phlebotomy procedures Providing nursing assistance to physician Obtaining vital signs Greeting and chaperoning patients during medical visit Telephone triage and patient education Maintaining medical documentation Scheduling care, treatment, and diagnostic tests, per physician Processing CLIA waived tests, prescription requests, and referrals Cross training in front office, referrals area, and other areas If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply now!
Requirements
- Medical Assistant Certification

- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Over 5 years Patient Care Experience
- Experience in Physician's office
