About The Position

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with a passion for providing outstanding care to join our dedicated team. Medical Assistants are the heart and core of Greenbrook Medical’s clinics and patient care. As our next Medical Assistant, you will care for our patients in a hands-on and personalized way to ensure all patients receive excellent care and attention. Your work will ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients by supporting the clinical team and fostering meaningful relationships with patients and their families. Reporting to the Center Manager, this role offers the opportunity to take on more responsibility as we grow. Location: Riverview, FL clinic Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a medical assistant, ideally in a primary care setting.
  • Medical Assistant Certification is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and team members.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused with a genuine desire to improve senior citizens' health outcomes.
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
  • Demonstrates composure, focus, and professionalism in high-pressure or fast-paced situations, effectively managing stress while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Nice To Haves

  • English/Spanish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and medication lists.
  • Prepare patients for examination.
  • Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation in the EMR system.
  • Coordinate scheduling and follow-up appointments to optimize patient care.
  • Respond to patient inquiries promptly and professionally, offering concierge-level support.
  • Administer medications, injections, and other treatments as directed by the provider.
  • Conduct basic laboratory tests and perform blood draws.
  • Administer EKG's and PFT's.
  • Partner with providers and other staff to create seamless patient experiences.
  • Contribute to care team discussions to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Maintain a patient-centered mindset while upholding clinic standards of care.
