Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant with 2+ years of experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR and Microsoft Office
- Ability to stay calm and professional with patients in distress
- Valid Georgia driver’s license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Recording vital signs and patient history in EMR
- Assisting physicians during exams and procedures
- Educating patients on treatments and medications
- Administering medications and processing pharmacy requests
- Performing venipuncture and preparing lab specimens
- Removing stents/sutures and prepping exam rooms
- Ensuring HIPAA and OSHA compliance
