Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in urgent care or walk-in clinic settings
  • Medical Assisting Program completion with Certification/Registration
  • CPR/BLS certification (must remain current)
  • Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • IV certification is a plus

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual communication preferred
  • Strong computer skills; EMR knowledge required
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift/move up to 25 lbs as needed
  • Positive, energetic, and organized mindset

Responsibilities

  • Collecting vitals and medical histories
  • Assisting with examinations and procedures under Physician, ARNP, or PA direction
  • Performing EKGs and administering injections
  • Entering data into EMR systems (Athena preferred, not required)
