About The Position

Are you a compassionate, skilled MA ready to deliver exceptional patient care? Join our dynamic team! Under the direction of the healthcare provider, you'll play a critical role in patient safety and well-being, performing vital preliminary tests and ensuring a smooth patient experience. You will: Patient Intake & Vitals: Greet/prepare patients; obtain/record vital signs (BP, temp, pulse, resp, height, weight, allergies, meds, presenting problem). Diagnostic Support: Perform routine tests (e.g., EKGs). Medication & Vaccine Admin: Administer ordered medications/vaccines (oral, injection, topical, etc.). Specimen Collection (May be required): Draw/collect blood samples; prepare specimens for lab analysis. Scheduling & Communication: Schedule diagnostic testing and follow up; communicate test results and plan of care to patients. Room & Equipment Prep: Clean/sterilize instruments; maintain equipment; stock/clean exam rooms; dispose of contaminated items. Documentation: Document patient plan(s) of care, tests, and examination results in medical record. Non Certified MA: $19.25 - 26.78 Certified MA: $22.51-31.79 Student loan repayment program offered!

Requirements

  • Compassion & Attention to Detail: Precise in tasks, dedicated to patient well-being.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • AHA BLS certification within thirty (30) days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Medical Assistant and/or Medical Assistant experience.
