About The Position
LIFEGUARD: Lifeguards at Maroon Creek Club must have proper lifeguard certification or must be able to complete a course prior to their first day on the job. This position requires the utmost dedication to the safety of the members and guests who are in the pool and occupying the surrounding areas. Candidates for this position must be personable and outgoing and must enjoy engaging with both adults and children. A Lifeguard must have the ability to sit and stay focused for long periods of time without distraction. In addition to constantly monitoring the safety of those present, lifeguards may also be called upon to help maintain the cleanliness and presentability of the pool area. That may include retrieving poolside towels, opening/closing umbrellas, repositioning lounge chairs, storing pool toys, picking up trash, etc. Must be a team player and work well with others on staff. Schedule flexibility is a must. Club management has final say on the appropriate attire that may be worn while on duty. This is a Full time or Part time seasonal position, Memorial Day thru Labor Day.
